A three and a half hour train journey from Cusco will take you to the colourful Machu Picchu Town. There you will board a bus for the 30 minute drive up the mountain to Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge and the ruins.  There are a variety of ways to get to Machu Picchu from Cusco. These include:    By train to Machu Picchu Town. Allow three and a half hours from Cusco.  Train service is provided by.        By road to Ollantaytambo, then by train to Machu Picchu Town. Allow three hours.  Train service is provided by.  Once in  Machu picchu Town a regular bus service operates between Machu Picchu Town and the Inca ruins where Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is located. Allow 20 minutes     Please note that there are no taxis from Machu Picchu Town to the Machu Picchu Citadel, the only form of transportation is on public buses.  By foot along the old Inca trail. Allow four or five days.

Classic Standard Rooms (King)(inicio)

The Sanctuary Lodge has six Classic Standard Rooms with King Size Bed which have a view of an inner courtyard.

Rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV and VCR, radio/alarm clock with docking station, minibar, safety-deposit box and private bathroom with shower only.  The hotel also offers a laundry service and guests can choose to dine in the privacy of their room.

2009 Rates:  US$ 852 per night (exclusive of 10% service charge)

The Sanctuary Lodge has eleven Classic Standard Rooms with Twin Beds, with a step-out access to a private patio and a sitting area where guests can enjoy their early morning breakfast.

Rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV and VCR, radio/alarm clock with docking station, minibar, safety-deposit box and private bathroom with shower only.  The hotel also offers a laundry service and guests can choose to dine in the privacy of their room.
